Ever heard of CrispyRob? Or its potato chips? The start-up Limitd is behind the development and marketing of the brand. The Berlin-based company has now raised a single-digit million sum from partners such as the Hamburg-based Wünsche Group.

For some time now, more and more influencers have been promoting their own brands. They receive support from start-ups such as Limitd, whose concept is to develop products for Generation Z together with influencers. The Berlin-based company has now announced that it has gained partners such as eValue AG from investor Thomas Falk and the Hamburg-based Wünsche Group as well as other business angels, who have invested a single-digit million sum in Limitd.

The start-up has concrete ideas for the use of the money: "We will use the liquid funds and our investor network to further expand the team and develop new products. This year, we will launch a new brand from the food sector together with another major influencer," says Sebastian Weil.

He founded the start-up in 2019 together with Ronald Horstman, Malte Fehr and Roman Blumenstock. The team only advertises through social media and is linked to the presence of an influencer to develop new products. One currently successful example is the "Robs" potato chips brand by Youtuber CrispyRob, which has been permanently available in Kaufland stores since May and is designed to retain the Youtuber's fans with new flavors and limited editions.

"There is enormous growth potential in the market for 'socially born products', which we want to leverage together with our creators and retail partners with well thought-out brand concepts," says founder Ronald Horstman about the Limitd concept.
