Littlelunch launches chocolate soup

"Höhle der Löwen" start-up littlelunch is launching a limited edition chocolate soup.

If the reviews on the online store are to be trusted, this strange product must taste almost unbelievable. For example, one user comments, "I'm in 7th heaven." But can it really be that delicious? The start-up Little Lunch, which many may know from the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen", now has a strictly limited chocolate soup on offer. 2.99 euros wants the still young company for it, 20,000 glasses they want to sell.

The idea was initially an April Fool's joke, based on the soon to be discontinued chocolate pizza from Dr. Oetker. But because the fans of the Augsburg company so vehemently demanded a chocolate soup, the start-up has given in and now made its customers a small, probably not entirely serious, pre-Christmas gift. In the online shop, the company's first sweet soup can now be found alongside pea dumplings and cheese delicacies.

According to the company, the chocolate soup is 70 percent whole milk, with the rest being thickeners and sugar. Little Lunch also advertises that the chocolate soup can be used universally: as a dessert sauce, drinking chocolate or simply spooned on.

The start-up's campaign is reminiscent of Dr. Oetker's chocolate pizza, which the company introduced three years ago. What many fans wanted, but apparently did not sell well, the demand was not high enough. Then in 2019 came the end of the "Pizza Dolce al Cioccolato".
