Olympia-Verlag is expanding its investment business with kicker Ventures GmbH to promote innovative start-ups in the sports and media sector.
Nuremberg, August 6, 2024 - Olympia-Verlag, known for its strategic partnerships in the sports and media sector, has further expanded its investment business with the founding of kicker Ventures GmbH. The aim is to manage start-ups, asset deals and takeovers of established companies more effectively. kicker Ventures GmbH is managed by Oliver Kühn and Werner Wittmann and supported by two experienced founders: Fabian Furch and Leopold Ingelheim.
Experienced team at the helm
Fabian Furch and Leopold Ingelheim, the founders of EarlyGame, are now acting as Venture Partners at kicker Ventures. Both have extensive experience and expertise. They founded EarlyGame in 2019 and received strategic and financial support from Olympia-Verlag.
Fabian and Leopold have proven that they can scale a business model. Their expertise and courage make them the ideal people to sift through and develop new business ideas.

Targeted investment
The aim of kicker Ventures GmbH is to further expand the investment business of Olympia-Verlag. The first investment was in the software company Tickaroo almost ten years ago. Oliver Kühn, Werner Wittmann and Olympia-Verlag Managing Director Bärbel Schnell will remain primarily responsible for the M&A business.
