Pascal Beij becomes head of sales at Unzer

Beij comes from payment service provider Planet and has been in the industry for twenty years. He will be in charge of sales and marketing.

Unzer has expanded its management team: Pascal Beij is taking over the position of chief sales officer (CCO) at the payment company with immediate effect and will head the sales and marketing divisions. Previously, Managing Director Robert Bueninck had assumed these responsibilities.

Beij previously led the business in Central Europe as Senior Vice President at payment service provider Planet. He has been active in the financial industry for twenty years. Among others, he held senior positions at Euronet Worldwide, Novum Bank and Voice Cash Mobile Bank. There, he thought sales channels and payment methods together - he will now do the same at Unzer, providing corporate customers with integrated payment and software solutions. "Looking at our strategy, Pascal's appointment was an obvious decision," says Unzer CEO Bueninck. "We are pleased to welcome such an experienced executive who is fully committed to providing customers with a seamless shopping experience across all channels."

Unzer offers a platform for retailers and organizations that bundles customer, sales and product data. This allows companies to see all sales channels on a single platform. Unzer is currently planning to offer additional features that enterprise customers can then add on.
