Sascha Günther becomes a partner at Vorwerk Ventures

The founder of the travel start-up Yilu is taking on a leadership role at the VC. Previous partner Holger Witte also gets a new position.
Venture capitalist Vorwerk Ventures is beefing up its management team. As the VC announced, Sascha Günther will be appointed Managing Partner. The 34-year-old has already been with Vorwerk Ventures since 2020; as a principal, he was responsible for investments in Avi Medical, Nilo Health and Alpakas, among others. Previously, Günther founded the travel start-up Yilu.
In addition to Sascha Günther, former Partner Holger Witte is also being promoted. Witte is also Managing Partner with immediate effect and will thus form a quartet at the top of the company together with Günther, Dirk Meurer and Norbert Muschong in the future.
The personnel news comes shortly after the launch of a new fund. At the beginning of the month, the capital provider, which emerged from the family-owned company Vorwerk in 2019, had announced this, 150 million euros were collected.
