Snuggs secures 5 million euros

More comfort and sustainability for periods: snuggs further expands its position as the leading brand for period underwear with a successful financing round.

Berlin, February 17, 2025 - Czech startup snuggs, Europe's market leader for period underwear, has increased its total funding to 12 million euros. In the latest financing round led by TripleB, the company secured 5 million euros to further drive its growth.

Sustainable alternative to conventional period products

Snuggs was founded with the mission to provide a comfortable, aesthetic and sustainable alternative to traditional tampons and pads. Founder and CEO Linda Sejdova developed the products based on her own experience: "I was fed up with uncomfortable and unreliable period products - there had to be a better solution."

With the support of textile engineersand designers- including talent from Agent Provocateur - a collection of period underwear was created that is both functional and stylish. The latest collection sold out just two weeks after launch, underlining the strong interest from customers.

Expansion and mainstream establishment

With the additional funding, snuggs plans to further expand its retail presence and bring high-quality period underwear into the mainstream as a real alternative to disposable products. The company is focusing on sustainable production and greater social acceptance of menstruation as a natural process.

"Our mission is clear: we want to bring more self-confidence and joy to people with periods," explains Sejdova. "Menstruation is not a weakness, but a superpower - and we want to help it to be perceived as such."
