Focus on growth: Sorella plans expansion with fresh capital of 5 million euros to strengthen its digital platform and open three new clinics in 2024

Paris, February 26, 2024 - Female health startup Sorella has successfully closed a €5 million funding round, one year after opening its first multidisciplinary health clinic. The funding round was led by certified B-Corp impact investment firm blisce/, with participation from Vorwerk Ventures, an independent venture capital firm focused on health, nutrition and climate.

This financing round opens a new chapter for Sorella. It will accelerate development in France and beyond and strengthen our ability to innovate in the field of health pathways and prevention.

Clémence Lejeune, co-founder of Sorella

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Sorella's coordinated care offering, improve its digital platform and develop its network of multidisciplinary women's health clinics. The goal is to open a dozen clinics by 2026, with three planned in 2024 alone.

Founded in 2022, Sorella is a network of multidisciplinary health spaces dedicated to women. It gives every woman access to a comprehensive care pathway offered by healthcare providers specializing in women's health, regardless of her age, from puberty to post-menopause. Sorella brings together the best practices of hospitals and primary care to serve women.

Customized solutions in the field of female health

Sorella's hybrid care system integrates new technological solutions to simplify the workflow for healthcare providers and improve the healthcare pathway. These digital solutions are also designed to facilitate the exchange of information for female patients, prevention and healthcare.

Today, 32% of women in France say they feel insecure about managing their health (compared to 20% of men). Women not only need access to comprehensive healthcare, but also have the right to demand that their specific physical and physiological needs are taken into account. This should be seen as a significant challenge for public health in France. The company is convinced that the multidisciplinary approach and the hybrid model can have a significant impact on women's health.

Sorella's digital platform is designed to enable smooth patient management, better internal guidance and post-consultation follow-up. This should also increase the efficiency of healthcare providers and relieve them of administrative tasks.
