Synbiotic gets on board with hemp milk start-up

The start-up The Hempany receives support from Synbiotic. Together, they are launching a hemp milk on the market.
Milk made from oats, soy, peas and rice - the list of alternatives to cow's milk is long. A new addition is now hemp milk from The Hempany. The Stuttgart-based start-up is now being joined by the listed company Synbiotic, led by founder Lars Müller. Together, the two start-ups are launching Hemi hemp milk on the market. In Germany, the milk will be available at Alnatura and Rossmann.
"We are delighted to have found the perfect partner in Synbiotic. They have great expertise, a strong distribution network and a passion for new products like our hemi," says co-founder and CEO of The Hempany Dave Tjiok.
With Synbiotic's entry, those interested in shares could also participate in the company's development, says CEO Lars Müller. He sees great potential in The Hempany: "A very strong founding team meets a market worth billions. The hemi brand has the potential to become significantly larger than its strong competitor Oatly."
Synbiotic started out as an empty shell company of Christian Angermayer on the stock exchange. The company has big goals, it wants to build a Europe-wide cannabinoid empire. "We want to become the leading provider of all cannabinoid-based products in Europe," CEO Lars Müller recently told Startbase. With the acquisition of Hemi, Synbiotic has taken the next step.
