The HR start-up has been focusing on digitizing job applications since 2017, and is now raising another €1.6 million for its funding round.

The HR start-up Taledo digitizes the recruiting process using EU-funded artificial intelligence. Since 2017, 1,500 companies have used the service. Now Taledo is increasing its pre-series A funding round by 1.6 million to a total of six million euros. The money comes from new and existing investors, and the Berlin-based company is also receiving corona assistance from IBB Capital, through which KfW invests in startups.

"The capital from the new investment round goes directly into the further development of the product," says CTO Marcel Poelker. The start-up wants to be a kind of digital headhunter for companies; Taledo currently employs 40 people at its Berlin location. Since 2020, Taledo has also been offering a digital applicant management system for companies.
