Tom Mayer becomes managing director at Frischepost

The delivery start-up Frischepost gets reinforcement from Milchmann co-founder Tom Mayer.
Tom Mayer is the new CEO of Hamburg-based start-up Frischepost. "I am honored to be part of this success story, the company and the team," Mayer wrote on LinkedIn.
The business informatics graduate previously worked independently as a digital chief and consultant. Last October, Mayer founded his own startup, Milchmann - an online supermarket freed from packaging waste. Because the start-up failed to find enough investors, it failed in May this year.
Frischepost was founded in 2015 by Juliane Willing and Eva Neugebauer. Users in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Cologne and the Rhine-Main region can order seasonal groceries from Frischepost's website and have them delivered to their homes.
