Tomorrow University of Applied Science receives €9.3 million in Series A funding led by EduCapital to educate the next generations of change makers in sustainable and technology-based business.

Berlin - Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences (Tomorrow University for short) has successfully closed a €9.3 million ($10 million) Series A funding round. In total, the university has already secured €13.8 million in investments since 2021. This investment supports Tomorrow University's mission to build a global community of business leaders and experts dedicated to creating a more sustainable future.

We are grateful for EduCapital's support as we continue to revolutionize the education landscape.

Christian Rebernik, Co-Founder & CEO Tomorrow University

The funding round was led by EduCapital, Europe's largest EdTech fund, and supported by several investors as well as angel investors, including Sparkmind.vc, Redstone, Mediahuis Ventures, 4P Capital, Zanichelli Ventures, Ralf Reichert and Daniel Jung. Also other well-known business angels such as Nikolaus D. Bayer, Lin Deutschmann, Thomas Maidorfer, Verena Pausder as well as by Mario Barosevcic and Jan Lynn-Matern from Emerge Education supported the round.

Together, we want to redefine education and foster the growth of future professionals and leaders.

Marie Geneste, EduCapital

The global EdTech market is growing at a compound annual growth rate of 16.5% and will be worth $404 billion by 2025. This trend reflects the increasing interest in new technologies and online education. As 2030 coincides with the European Union's climate change targets and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Agenda, the demand for professionals with specific expertise is growing rapidly to meet global development and sustainability goals. Currently, however, only 13% of the workforce has these necessary skills.

Now is the time to capitalize on the exponential growth of the EdTech market and leverage its potential

Dr. Thomas Funke, Co-Founder & President Tomorrow University

The funding received will be used to grow Tomorrow University, expand its educational offerings, develop its technology infrastructure, and expand its operations to meet the growing demand for innovative and forward-thinking education. The university is already planning to launch a new master's degree program in fall 2023, the Impact MBA in Sustainability, Innovation and Leadership. This degree program is designed for people who want to advance their careers while making a positive impact on society through sustainable business practices.

Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences (ToU) was founded in 2021. It offers smart distance learning designed by entrepreneurs, academics and subject matter experts. In addition to the Impact MBA, ToU offers other degree programs and certifications, including bachelor's degrees in responsible entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence & sustainable technologies, and a dual master's degree in sustainability, entrepreneurship and technology in collaboration with the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
