Xentral apparently lays off ten percent of its workforce

According to information from Gründerszene Xentral fires around twenty people. This corresponds to ten percent of the approximately 200 employees. According to the report, the reason for the layoffs is the general economic development.

According to Xentral founder Benedikt Sauter, growth is not in line with the expected figures for this year. Therefore, the start-up now wants to reorganize and adjust its market strategy. The sales and marketing teams are particularly affected by the layoffs. The start-up is apparently trying to find new jobs for the affected employees.

Benedikt and Claudia Sauter founded Xentral in 2015, a startup that offers software for small and medium-sized companies to bundle their business processes. This gives them an overview of orders, incoming goods, orders, accounting and master data. Around 1,700 companies use Xentral, including Porsche and Aboutyou, for example.
