Yoummday buys company too

The acquisition of Icon Communication Center by the start-up was already completed at the end of July. Nothing is known about the exact purchase price.

Munich-based start-up Yoummday has acquired call center operator Icon Communication Center with the aim of further growth. The acquisition of Icon Communication Centres s.r.o is Yoummday's first since a €30 million funding round by Armira Growth and Project A in February 2022.

Yoummday, which stands for "you made my day," is a company specializing in work-from-home solutions. Klaus Harisch, the inventor of Telegate and Goyellow, founded the Munich-based company in spring 2016 together with his sons Lion and Pablo. More than 6,000 employees are registered on the Yoummday platform, serving companies of all sizes and industries worldwide. Yoummday has offices in Munich, Halle an der Saale, Berlin and employs over 250 permanent staff there. The work@home operating system offers solo self-employed professionals around the world the opportunity to work for different brands.

ICON is a call center operator based in Central Europe, founded in Prague in 2003. Serving B2B and B2C companies in a variety of industries, the company specializes in hiring and managing multilingual teams for sales, account management and customer support.
