Benjamin Hologa is new co-CEO at Maktkost

The manager is to optimize sales strategies and drive the expansion of the start-up.

Marktkost brings Benjamin Hologa on board as a new co-managing director. His main tasks will be to optimize sales strategies and further expand the company. Hologa's previous positions include Head of Expansion at DCI Digital Career and Sales at Qualitrain, a corporate fitness provider. He also worked at Urban Sports Club, where he spent four years growing the company's customer base in the B2B segment.

"The concept of Marktkost convinced me immediately," says Hologa. "Because the potential is huge." Founded in 2019 by Laura-Maria Horn, the start-up offers organized catering for employees in companies without canteens. Marktkost takes care of production and delivery, relying on what it says is an intelligent pre-ordering system designed to prevent food waste. Hologa sees a growing market here, as it believes companies need to offer more than "just a fair salary."

The start-up is currently offering its service in Berlin and Brandenburg, he said. Hologa's mission is to expand the delivery area, he said. "I'm sure we can take Marktkost to a new level with him," says CEO and founder Horn. "Soon we will be able to please more employees in more regions with our offer."
