ClearOps has closed a Series A financing round of 8.6 million euros. The round was led by Hitachi Ventures and supported by the Schoeller Group and the Barkawi Group.

The company intends to use the fresh capital to scale its AI platform for industrial service and spare parts processes internationally and position itself as a central infrastructure for global aftersales networks.

A billion-euro problem behind industrial downtime

When machines come to a standstill, the economic damage is often high. Nevertheless, many industrial service and spare parts networks continue to operate with fragmented IT systems, manual processes and isolated data structures. The consequences range from delayed repairs to longer production downtimes and dissatisfied customers.

The company is developing an AI-supported platform that connects manufacturers, dealers, service partners and machines on a central infrastructure. ClearOps does not completely replace existing systems, but orchestrates data and processes across existing IT landscapes.

Among other things, the platform supports

▪️ intelligent spare parts planning ▪️ more precise demand forecasts ▪️ real-time coordination of service processes ▪️ automation of operational processes in after sales

According to the company, ClearOps already works with thousands of dealers and millions of networked machines worldwide. Its customers include industrial companies such as AGCO, Jungheinrich, Terex and Lippert.

Autonomous service and supply chain networks

The long-term goal goes beyond traditional service software. ClearOps wants to organize industrial service networks increasingly autonomously, supported by AI-supported predictions and automated process control.

William Barkawi, founder and CEO of ClearOps, says:

We believe that the future belongs to companies that no longer just solve problems, but predict them at an early stage and coordinate and automate processes in real time.

The company's vision: to operate global machine fleets with minimal downtime through intelligent service and spare parts networks.

Investors see structural change in industrial aftersales

The investors position ClearOps as an infrastructure player in a market that is increasingly being transformed by digitalization, networking and AI.

Hitachi Ventures refers in particular to the growing need for intelligent platforms in industrial service operations. The Schoeller Group sees great potential in the real-time coordination of global service and supply chains. The Barkawi Group has been supporting ClearOps since the early stages and contributes operational expertise in the area of after sales and service supply chains.

Expansion of AI, sales and international presence

ClearOps plans to use the Series A financing:

▪️ international expansion ▪️ expansion of the go-to-market and sales teams ▪️ greater integration into industrial ecosystems ▪️ further development of AI-based automation functions

There is a particular focus on systems that not only forecast requirements, but are also increasingly able to coordinate service and spare parts processes independently.

Industrial after-sales service has been one of the most profitable areas for many OEMs for years, but it is also one of the least modernized. The more machines are networked and global service chains become more complex, the more important a central platform that orchestrates data, processes and operational decisions in real time becomes. ClearOps may have found a real sweet spot here.
