The further education start-up from Berlin wants to use the money primarily for rapid expansion.

Berlin-based startup Coachhub has closed its Series B-2 funding round, raising $80 million. The money comes from VCs Draper Esprit, Rtp Global, Hv Capital, Signals Venture Capital, Partech and Speedinvest, among others. According to the start-up, it has thus received a total of 130 million US dollars so far.

The money is to flow primarily into the expansion of the training start-up. Because the coaching market is booming. In the first half of this year, Coachhub says it has exceeded expectations for new business. The startup has also tripled its headcount and added more big brands as clients. These include Kpmg, Babbel and Fujitsu.

"This latest round of funding enables us to serve the ever-growing demand for digital training and HR development solutions triggered by the pandemic," says co-founder and chief sales director Yannis Niebelschütz. Coachhub uses artificial intelligence to connect its users with what it claims are more than 2,500 certified business coaches. Expert conversations are currently available in more than 60 languages.
