Cosmico treats itself to 12 million euros in Series B
The European future-of-work platform Cosmico has closed a €12 million Series B financing round. The round of equity and debt capital was led by P101 SGR as lead investor. Prana Ventures, which has been invested since 2023, was also involved.
In parallel to the financing, Cosmico also completed the full acquisition of Flatmates Srl two years earlier than originally planned. The Group intends to use the fresh capital to further accelerate its expansion and complete three more acquisitions in Italy and Spain by the end of 2026.
Future of Work
Cosmico is positioning itself as a holding company for various business models relating to the future of work. The group now combines several specialized verticals:
- Cosmico: talent-as-a-service for digital professionals
- Flatmates: talent-as-a-service for the creator economy
- Creative Harbour: Community-as-a-Service for employee retention
- Play New: Building AI-supported "SuperAgent" teams
The corporate strategy combines organic growth with targeted acquisitions in the future-of-work market
Turnover doubled and 40 million euros targeted in 2026
According to the company, the Group generated revenue of EUR 24 million in 2025, representing year-on-year growth of 109%. According to Cosmico, sales of EUR 20 million were already contractually secured in the first four months of 2026, including around EUR 1.5 million in Spain.
For the year as a whole, Cosmico is targeting sales of EUR 40 million from its operating business. The Group's long-term goal is to reach the EUR 100 million turnover mark by 2028.
Flatmates becomes the Group's second major pillar
With the complete takeover of Flatmates Srl, Cosmico is strengthening its position in the Creator Economy in particular. The company was founded in 2021 by Michele Pagani and Marcello Ascani and is now one of the best-known creator agencies in Italy.
Flatmates works with brands such as Ducati, Google, Xiaomi, Trade Republic and Generali, among others. The agency operates various business areas, including talent management, creator marketing, content production and its own media formats.
According to the company, the three further M&A transactions announced are to take place in two directions. On the one hand, Cosmico wants to open up new business areas and, on the other, strengthen existing areas by acquiring competitors. The focus is equally on Italy and Spain, where the Group has already established its own operating companies.
AI is changing the labor market
The investors see considerable growth potential, particularly in the transformation of the world of work through AI. Stefano Guidotti emphasizes that companies will increasingly need technologies in the future to support employees and organizations in adapting to new working models.
According to the group, it currently has more than 35,000 digital experts in its community, over 300 corporate clients and around 110 employees in Milan and Madrid.
