Digital Futurecongress awards start-up prize

For the second time, the Frankfurt Congress is hosting a founder pitch competition. Startups can still apply until mid-April.
On May 17, 2022, the Founder Pitch at the Digital Futurecongress at Messe Frankfurt will enter its second round. Start-ups from all over Germany can apply on the congress website until April 10. The competition is aimed at new start-ups and spin-offs from the digital industry from the foundation year 2018.
The 20 startups that qualify will be able to present their products at their own booth and during a five-minute pitch on stage. A jury will then award prizes to the three best presentations. The first-place winners get to choose a row stand at a future Digital Futurecongress and receive an IT package from Sotec worth 3,000 euros. The start-up in second place will also receive free exhibition space at the joint stand of the SME association and an IT package. Third place will receive a free online article in Digital Futuremag.
The jury includes investor Ralf Rieken, start-up coach Catarina Haak, TechQuartier director Sebastian Schaefer, managing director of Darmstadt's technology and start-up center Hub31 Laura Melina Abascal y Ballester and Sotec owner Oliver Fritz. In 2020, the competition was held for the first time. The start-ups Xeem, Idee and Visometry prevailed.
