Distribusion closes financing round

The Berlin-based travel marketplace raised 30 million euros. It intends to use this to expand its offering to new regions.

Booking ground transportation can be a complicated process for travellers. To simplify this, Distribusion wants to connect travel brands with transportation providers. The Berlin-based company has now raised 30 million euros for this purpose.

Distribusion was founded in 2014 and is a travel tech platform that offers access to various transportation options. The B2B booking platform has a large network of carriers and retailers in the industry and connects global travel brands with hundreds of providers of buses, airport transfers, trains and ferries.

With the new funding, additional airlines and new regions will be integrated, says Thomas Doering, CEO of Distribision. He continues: "We will bring more products to customers' preferred online channels and help promote the most sustainable form of transportation."
