Dominik Perisa is now with Rivus Capital

Investor Dominik Perisa is a new part of Rivus Capital's VC management team. He will head the Berlin office in the future.

The Berlin office of investor Rivus Capital is now in new hands. Dominik Perisa joins the management level of the venture capital division. Previously, the 33-year-old worked at Cherry Ventures, where he said he helped build a portfolio of more than a hundred companies, and at private equity fund Capital Management Partners. He earned his master's degree in finance from ESADE Business School.

"Dominik is a proven expert with a widespread network and an excellent track record in the investment business," said Simon Math, partner at Rivus Capital in Munich. The company provides venture capital for the seed and growth phases of urban tech start-ups.

By urban tech, Rivus Capital means in particular the areas of real estate technology, mobility, energy and impact. Perisa sees these as the biggest challenges facing the planet. He wants to promote innovative and disruptive solutions in these areas. "As a partner based in Berlin, I am very much looking forward to supporting young companies in (pre-) seed and Series A rounds in their growth, taking impact and ESG criteria into account," says Perisa.
