The deal sourcing company Finquest is expanding its database for medium-sized companies. More than 100 million private companies can now be found there. The business model of the Frankfurt-based fintech is to support private equity and corporate M&A teams in their search for proprietary deals in the midmarket. The data of listed companies in the Finquest database is enhanced by AI and moderated by humans.
At the same time, the company, founded in 2016, announced that it now has more than 250 employees worldwide. It says that's a 140 percent increase year-over-year, which it says is related to growing customer numbers. "This expansion represents the biggest leap forward we've made in our journey so far," said CEO and co-founder Tanguy Lesselin. Finquest's nine offices are located in Europe, South Asia and the United States.
