The Czech TravelTech startup FLÆ Robotics has raised more than one million euros in a seed funding round. The capital comes from Purple Ventures and Garage Angels and will be used to fund the further development of the AI hotel assistant BE-A as well as the company’s international expansion. More than 60 hotels in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Czech Republic are already using the technology. In addition to expanding its presence in Germany and Austria, the company is also preparing to enter the U.S. market.

More Than One Million Euros for International Expansion

FLÆ Robotics was founded in 2023 by Filip Linek and, with BE-A, develops an AI-based software solution for automating guest communication and administrative processes in hotels. With the new seed funding of more than one million euros, the company aims to accelerate its product development and improve integration with existing hotel management systems. At the same time, the company plans to hire additional staff and tap into new international markets. Purple Ventures and Garage Angels are participating as investors. The startup has not disclosed details regarding its valuation or the exact allocation of the funding. A particular focus is on the German-speaking market. FLÆ Robotics plans to intensify its activities in Germany and expand into Austria. In addition, the company intends to expand its existing operations in the United Kingdom. At the same time, the company is preparing to enter the U.S. hotel market.

AI Assistant Handles Reception Tasks

The core product, BE-A, is an AI agent that supports hotels with recurring guest service tasks. The software communicates with hotel guests through various channels, including WhatsApp, email, web chat, and phone calls. According to the company, BE-A supports more than 100 languages and is available around the clock. Typical use cases include questions about room availability, reservations, hotel services, and general information about the stay. By integrating with existing hotel systems, the AI agent can go beyond simply answering questions and perform operational tasks. For example, BE-A should be able to process reservations or forward inquiries to the appropriate staff members. The company’s goal is to develop a digital receptionist that connects various communication channels with a hotel’s internal processes.

More than 265,000 interactions in two months

According to FLÆ Robotics, BE-A was used in July and August 2026 for approximately 265,000 messages and voice interactions. These were spread across just under 160,000 conversations. On average, the platform processed more than 4,000 individual interactions per day. During the same period, the company reports that over 3,400 hotel bookings were completed without human intervention. The figures refer to total platform usage over the two months. The company does not provide details on how the bookings were distributed among individual hotels or what revenue they generated. Among the hotels using BE-A are the Weetwood Hall Hotel in the United Kingdom and the Hotel Atlantis near the Czech city of Brno. According to the company, more than 60 hotels in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Czech Republic now use the software.

Integration into Hotel Systems as a Competitive Advantage

A central component of the product strategy is integrating AI-powered communication with the hotels’ operational systems. Many automated chat solutions can provide general information. FLÆ Robotics, however, aims to automate the subsequent steps as well. This includes, for example, the assistant not only responding to a booking request but also directly completing a reservation if the necessary system integration is in place. In addition, BE-A categorizes incoming messages and assigns them to specific departments or workflows. This allows requests to be forwarded to the front desk or other relevant teams. This is intended to reduce the time hotel staff spend on repetitive administrative tasks. At the same time, it should allow them to focus more on personalized guest service and more complex issues. The press release does not specify which specific hotel management systems are supported or the extent of the individual integrations.

Relief for Hotels with High Communication Volumes

Hotels handle a large number of recurring inquiries every day. These include information on arrival times, parking options, room amenities, booking changes, and available additional services. Especially when such questions come in through multiple communication channels, this creates additional organizational overhead. FLÆ Robotics relies on a centralized AI solution that can automatically capture and process various inquiries. Founder and CEO Filip Linek sees particular potential not only in providing information but also in performing downstream tasks within the hotel systems. From the company’s perspective, this can free up more time for employees to focus on situations that require personal experience and individual decision-making. In its press release, the Atlantis Hotel confirms that BE-A supports the team in their day-to-day work. The assistant’s natural and polite communication style is particularly highlighted.

Focus on Germany, Austria, and the U.S.

With the new funding, FLÆ Robotics aims to significantly expand its existing market presence. Germany is already among the countries where hotels are using the software, and the company plans to further grow its customer base there. Austria is targeted as an additional market. In the United Kingdom, the company intends to build on its existing rollout. In the medium term, the U.S. hotel market is also on the expansion agenda. International scaling requires that BE-A be compatible with various hotel management systems, booking processes, and operational requirements. Therefore, a portion of the funding is being directed specifically toward technical development and additional interfaces.

Investors Are Betting on Automation in the Hospitality Industry

Purple Ventures sees FLÆ Robotics as a provider that can already demonstrate concrete applications in everyday hotel operations. Jan Davídek, General Partner at Purple Ventures, highlights in particular the combination of industry experience, product development, and an international growth strategy. With more than 60 affiliated hotels and several thousand automated bookings, FLÆ Robotics has published its initial usage figures. Key metrics regarding revenue, recurring software revenue, and profitability remain undisclosed at this time. For the next phase of development, the key factors will be how reliably more complex booking and service processes can be automated and whether the technology achieves similar acceptance in other markets. The financing of more than one million euros is intended to lay the groundwork for this and further develop BE-A from an AI communication solution into a more comprehensive digital hotel assistant.
