IDnow acquires Ariadnext

It is the third acquisition within a year: IDnow has acquired the French company Ariadnext, taking over employees and locations.

Wirecard Communication Services, Identity Trust Management and now Ariadnext - IDnow is in acquisition fever. The latest target is a French company that offers digital identities and remote verifications and has now been acquired by IDnow. IDnow is integrating Ariadnext's solution into its current offering and acquiring sites as well as employees.

"With Ariadnext and the recent acquisition of identity Trust Management AG, IDnow can offer its customers an even broader range of products through a single platform and with a seamless user experience," says CEO Andreas Bodczek. For 2022, IDnow expects a threefold increase in revenue compared to 2019.

"We are excited to join such a dedicated team and combine our experience and capabilities," says Guillaume Despage of Ariadnext. IDnow's offering can thus be found in Germany, France, the UK, Spain, Poland and Romania.

IDnow was founded in 2014 by Armin Bauer, Dennis von Ferenczy, Felix Haas and Sebastian Baerhold, and the Munich-based company has since raised €50 million. The Corona pandemic has caused demand for IDnow's digital verification and identification to rise sharply, by 200 percent last year. Customers include, for example, N26, Solarisbank, Wefox and Commerzbank.
