IDnow acquires next start-up

IDnow bought back in September 2020, and now the company has announced its next acquisition.
The second takeover in half a year: identity verification platform IDnow buys competitor Identity Trust Management. The employees are taken over at the Düsseldorf location and the platforms are merged.
"We are excited to welcome the talented team at identity Trust Management AG to the IDnow family and to combine the strengths of both companies to create a joint industry-leading brand," said Andreas Bodczek, CEO at IDnow. "We have known the leadership team for years and have built a partnership based on deep loyalty and mutual understanding."
IDnow is based in Germany, the UK and France, and its clients include Sixt, N26 and Western Union. Last year, the start-up acquired Leipzig-based Wirecard Communication Services, a subsidiary of scandal-hit Wirecard AG.
