Valencia, February 18, 2025 - Spanish supply chain management (SCM) software startup Imperia has successfully closed a Series A financing round. The investment is led by Burda Principal Investments (BPI) and is intended to further drive growth in Europe.
With this investment, BPI continues its focus on scalable, technology-driven solutions that modernize traditional industries. At the same time, the investment marks BPI's first entry into the Spanish market, which offers great potential for innovative, VC-financed companies.
Efficient and intelligent supply chain solutions

At a time of rising costs and increasing uncertainty in supply chains, Imperia replaces manual processes with fully digital, AI-powered workflows. Existing customers include fast-growing SMEs as well as global companies such as Siemens Energy, Noel Alimentaria, Faes Farma and ArmRest. Imperia's ease of use and proven ROI have made it a popular choice for companies looking to digitize their supply chains.
Capital for expansion and AI innovation
With the fresh capital, Imperia plans to further develop its AI-powered analytics and predictive capabilities to better help companies optimize costs and minimize risk. Expand into the UK, Italy and France, including building local teams and strategic partnerships. Expansion of the international team in the areas of sales, marketing, product development and operations.
In addition to BPI, existing investors Samaipata, Acurio Ventures and Draper B1 have again participated in the financing round. The exact amount of the Series A was not disclosed.
The investment in Imperia underlines the growing need for digital solutions for supply chain management. As the market evolves, Imperia is leveraging artificial intelligence, automation and data-driven decision-making to make companies of all sizes more efficient and resilient.
