Kenbi GmbH takes over Liebeskind Care

Kenbi takes over Liebeskind Care out of insolvency: 100 jobs are saved and 700 customers will continue to be served
Berlin, September 2024 - Kenbi GmbH has taken over Liebeskind Care plus GmbH and Liebeskind Care Iserlohn GmbH out of insolvency as of September 1, 2024. With the takeover, Kenbi secures the jobs of 100 employees and takes over the care of 700 customers. This strategic decision underpins Kenbi's position as an innovative market leader in home care in Germany.
Kenbi's technology as the key to stabilization
In a difficult market environment with rising wage costs and stagnating prices, Kenbi is relying on its technological innovations to quickly stabilize and further develop the locations of the acquired companies. With proprietary solutions such as the "Hub Copilot", which supports care managers in daily tasks, and "Sabine", a strategic extension that provides recommendations and insights, Kenbi is significantly improving the efficiency of care processes.
Our technological basis gives us the confidence to successfully lead the acquired locations into the future and set new standards in digital care.
Clemens Raemy, Co-CEO & Co-Founder of Kenbi
Additional support from investors
Kenbi has also secured additional capital from existing investors to finance further acquisitions and expand its market leadership. This support will enable Kenbi to continue to pursue its vision of transforming the care industry through technological innovation.
Our goal is to ensure safe, efficient and humane care for all and to transform the care industry in a sustainable way.
Katrin Alberding, Co-CEO & Co-Founder of Kenb
Support with the takeover
The takeover was legally supported by the law firm of Prof. Dr. Jörg Bornheimer, while the management consultancy Amberger Consulting supported the sales process. Kenbi thanks both partners for their professional cooperation.
Kenbi was founded at the end of 2019 and has since raised over 60 million euros in capital. We reported 2021 about a successful €23.5 million round. The company employs more than 1,000 people and cares for over 4,700 patients. We last reported in February of this year on the acquisition of Lioncare by Kenbi. With a strong focus on the use of modern technology, Kenbi is committed to a sustainable care system that focuses on the needs of caregivers and patients alike.
