Lea Siering becomes Managing Director at 2° Investing Initiative Germany

From October, the current Managing Director Jakob Thomä will be moving to a new position. His successor brings experience from the fintech industry.

Lea Siering will take over as Managing Director at 2° Investing Initiative Germany on October 1. She replaces co-founder and previous managing director Jakob Thomä. He will move into the new position of Director of Strategy and Investment.

Siering previously worked as chief risk officer at German fintech Finleap Connect. She also brings experience as a member of the supervisory board of the European Fintech Association and as chair of the Fintech and Digital Banking working group at Bitkom.

The 2° Investing Initiative is a think tank for sustainable finance. Its goal is to reconcile the financial market with the climate goals of the Paris Agreement. To this end, the think tank conducts research and analyses. In the Transition Monitor, for example, 2° Investing Initiative analyzes over 30,000 portfolios for their climate friendliness. The Myfairmoney platform makes it easier for retail investors to bring sustainability into their financial planning.
