Michael Hartwig becomes new CEO of EGroup

The ex-manager of Google and Yext wants to accelerate EGroup's growth and open up new markets.

EGroup has appointed Michael Hartwig as its new CEO. The company offers multilingual telephone and secretarial services to medium-sized companies. The group also rents offices and conference rooms. As the new CEO, Hartwig is to be responsible for the realignment of the group of companies and ensure sustainable growth.

"Our mission will be to raise the profile of hidden champions such as our EBuero and Anwaltssekretariat brands, to broaden the base of a healthy and high-growth company, and to open up new markets," Hartwig says of his new position. Until 2016, he was business unit manager for Central Europe at Google Doubleclick (now Google Marketing Platform) before being responsible for growing the business of Yext, an AI company for digital search in the DACH region. Most recently, he worked at the company Pylot, which he accompanied until its exit.

Now Hartwig is to realign EGroup and develop intelligent office solutions. "With a view to megatrends such as New Work and Hybrid World, we will use the new and high-potential technologies to offer small and medium-sized companies completely new possibilities in outsourcing their office activities as their supporter and partner," says Hartwig.
