Plan A attracts capital in the amount of 10 million US dollars

HV Capital and Keen Venture Partners lead the funding round. Existing investors Demeter IM and Coparion are doubling their commitment from the seed round.

Plan A's software allows companies to monitor and reduce their CO2 emissions, among other things. Founded in 2017, the start-up has now raised ten million US dollars in a funding round. Munich-based venture capital firm HV Capital and Netherlands-based Keen Venture Partners lead the funding round. Existing investors Demeter IM and Coparion also gave money again, doubling their stake from the previous seed round.

Plan A now wants to use the capital to further develop its platform and expand internationally. To do so, it plans to set up offices in London, Munich, Paris and other international centers. The company had already opened offices in Paris and Munich in 2021. The company has set its sights on becoming fully global in the next three years and is hiring a large number of new employees.

"Since our inception, we, along with our incredible team, have worked hard to make sustainability a must for every business, something that wasn't a given a few years ago," writes founder and CEO Lubomila Jordanova on LinkedIn. "We believe our advanced and automated software can help any business quickly achieve tangible decarbonization and reporting results beyond simple carbon offsets."

Plan A says it has already won clients such as BMW, Société Générale, JOKR, Apax and the European Union.
