Rencore expands its advisory board with six business angels

Rencore, a leading provider of cloud collaboration solutions, strengthens its team with renowned business angels, including former executives from Vodafone and SAP

Munich, March 21, 2024 - Munich-based Rencore, which provides software solutions for secure cloud collaboration, has announced that it has added further industry experts to its list of investors. Following successful financing rounds with Capnamic and UVC Partners in 2022 and 2023, Rencore has attracted further investors to strengthen its presence in the international market.

The new investors will help the company gain valuable insights and experience for further international growth. Given the growing cloud collaboration market, such insights are important. The six new business angels each bring expertise to support Rencore's existing strategy and growth objectives. Investors include former executives from companies such as Vodafone Germany and SAP, as well as successful angel investors and the investment arm of German company FlixBus.

The new business angels

1. Hannes Ametsreiter, former CEO of Vodafone Germany and member of the global Vodafone Group Executive Committee.
2. Christian Dahlen, former executive at SAP and Managing Director at Kabel Deutschland.
3. Lin Gong-Deutschmann, Europe's Angel Investor of the Year 2022 and founding partner of the start-up consulting and investment company L&R Holding.
4. Martin Reitenspiess, currently Partner and Executive Advisor at Oliver Wyman's Management Consulting Practice.
5. FlixFounders, the investment arm of the founders of the German market leader FlixBus.
6. New Forge, a business angel club made up of entrepreneurs and SaaS experts, including the former Instana founders.

Alexander Hochgürtel from New Forge, one of the new investors, emphasized the importance of Rencore's governance solution for companies with growing cloud landscapes. Rencore's software enables companies to regain transparency and control over their cloud environments.

Matthias Einig, CEO and co-founder of Rencore, commented positively on the collaboration with the new investors. Their experience in scaling organizations will help Rencore strengthen its position as a cloud collaboration governance provider.
