Rezolve comes to Berlin

So far, retailers in Asia in particular have been using the app from London-based start-up Rezolve to better connect with their customers. Now Rezolve is also coming to Berlin with its offer.

Retailers are particularly suffering in the Corona pandemic. The app Rezolve wants to help especially small shops and retailers not to disappear from the cityscape and make shopping easier for customers. The start-up from London has so far been successful mainly in the Asian region, now Rezolve is opening an office in Berlin and wants to conquer the German market. Neobank N26 will also be present at the Berlin launch. Rezolve still calls this step a pilot project.

"Everyone is talking about the need for digitization, empty city centers, retail closures and the looming dominance of BigTechs - rezolve doesn't talk, but offers a solution to all these issues as a social initiative," says CEO and CCO Peter Vesco about the mission of the startup, which was founded in 2016.

Through the startup's app, merchants can sign up to then use Rezolve's infrastructure to promote their products. There are also functions such as "geo location marketing": retailers can define geo zones around their store; when users of the app enter this zone, they receive information about the offer of the day or about new products. This is the best way to guide them into the store. In addition, users can point the camera of their smartphone at posters or stickers and go directly to the product pictured. The start-up also promises to integrate existing online shops. The various features are intended to simplify the connection between consumers and retailers.
