Verena Pausder and Lea-Sophie Cramer invest more than one million euros in the investment app Alice, which is aimed exclusively at women.

Even before its official launch, fintech Alice was able to raise more than one million euros for its app of the same name in February, as Finance Forward now reports. According to the start-up, the venture capitalists in the pre-seed financing round include Cavalry Ventures, Berlin Ventures and prominent business angels such as Verena and Philipp Pausder and Lea-Sophie Cramer as well as Emma Tracey, Doreen Huber, Kerstin Schiefelbein and Lara Von Tippelskirch.

The Alice app is designed to help women optimize their finances. The founders are Andrea Fernandez and Artyom Chelbayev. Fernandez has more than 15 years of experience in finance, fintech and start-ups. Chelbayev has previously developed strategies for start-ups that develop B2B technologies.

Financial apps just for women are currently in vogue. Founders Martina Gstöttmayr and Alexa Cotiaux, for example, are currently working on a very similar solution with their app Uplyvt.
