The Hamburg-based fintech is launching an account that allows couples to manage their finances together, fulfilling what it says is a long-held desire of its customers.

With its new account offer "Together", the Fintech Tomorrow of now also enables joint banking. The account is not only aimed at couples, but is also suitable for siblings, friends or flatmates.

In the run-up to the product launch, Tomorrow conducted a representative study on the topic together with YouGov. According to it almost every second couple in Germany (44%) lives so far exclusively with separate accounts. At the same time, 87 percent of respondents would be willing to entrust their partner with the power of attorney over the joint account.

Since March 2019, the fintech from Hamburg offers a current account and already has over 60,000 customers, according to its own information. In perspective, a digital platform around finances with positive influence is to be created.
