TÜV Rheinland certifies aedifion solution for GEG-compliant system operation

The recent amendment to the German Building Energy Act (GEG) has underlined the importance of building automation for a climate-neutral building stock in Germany. In accordance with the provisions of Section 71a (1), (2) and (4) of the GEG, owners of non-residential buildings must meet strict requirements for energy monitoring technology by 31 December 2024. aedifion, a provider of software solutions for technical building operation, has had its "Optimization Bundle" successfully certified by TÜV Rheinland.

TÜV certification confirms conformity of the aedifion solution

The certificate confirms that the aedifion cloud solution meets the required standards. The "Optimization Bundle" was subjected to a comprehensive test procedure that focused on energy monitoring, data accessibility, continuous improvement of energy efficiency as well as system compatibility and communication. TÜV Rheinland confirmed that all evaluation criteria were met in full.
