Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR) has officially announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Viessmann Climate Solutions from Viessmann Group. This acquisition marks a major step in Carrier's ambition to position itself as a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Viessmann Climate Solutions is a respected premium brand with specialized direct channel sales to installers and a focus on highly efficient and renewable climate solutions. The integration of Viessmann Climate Solutions will complement Carrier's existing offering and strengthen the company's position in residential and light commercial (RLC) HVAC in Europe.

12,000 employees strengthen market position

The approximately 12,000 team members of Viessmann Climate Solutions will further strengthen Carrier's position as a global HVAC provider. Thomas Heim, formerly head of Viessmann Climate Solutions, will now lead Carrier's RLC HVAC business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which includes Viessmann Climate Solutions and Carrier's RLC business in the region, including Riello.
