Two new portals are now online to help refugees from Ukraine find jobs. One comes from founders from Berlin, the other from a medium-sized association.

The new portal UA Talents is online and aims to help refugees from Ukraine find a job. Berlin-based Ukrainian tech entrepreneurs Ivan Kychatyi and Nikita Overchyk founded the platform. At the launch of UA Talents, 5,000 jobs have already been advertised. These are primarily from the technology sector. However, they say the offering will soon be expanded to other industries.

The investors behind the platform are Atlantic Labs, FoodLabs, HV Capital, Earlybird and Project A. According to UA Talents, the companies Flink, Bolt, Meta, Stepstone, Gorillas, Foodlabs and the Axel Springer publishing house have also pledged their support. According to the founders, the platform is non-profit and all generated proceeds will be donated to Ukraine.

Entrepreneur Marcus Diekmann has also launched a job platform for refugees from Ukraine. "There is a shortage of over a million workers in Germany in care, agriculture, gastronomy and also in the digital economy. At the same time, the integration of refugees will only succeed if we get people jobs," says Diekmann. There are already 1,200 job openings online on the Jobaidukraine platform. The project is supported by software developer Minubo and Shopware, among others.
