Upvest and N26 enable direct share trading within the N26 app

N26 and Upvest enter into a partnership to offer their customers an expanded investment offering. The integration of stock and ETF trading into the N26 app is imminent.

N26 has announced a partnership with fintech company Upvest. Through this collaboration, N26 customers will be able to trade stocks and ETFs directly within the N26 app. Upvest will provide the necessary licenses for securities, brokerage and custody and deliver a secure investment infrastructure that will be seamlessly integrated into the N26 app.

Upvest, founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing, enables other fintechs to offer investment products to their customers. With an investment API, fintechs can offer their clients an enhanced capital markets experience, while Upvest provides the technological infrastructure. The company, with more than 150 employees in Berlin, is one of the few fintechs in Europe that can offer B2B clients a wide range of investment opportunities in traditional securities and crypto assets. Its latest financing round of 30 million euros included investments from investors such as BlackRock, Bessemer Venture Partners, HV Capital and others.
