UptimeAI secures USD 14 million Series A financing for expansion in North America and the Middle East

After growing 400% in 2023, UptimeAI raises $14 million to bring its AI-driven industrial process solutions to new markets

San Francisco, August 2024 - UptimeAI, a startup specializing in AI-driven platforms for operational excellence, has secured $14 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from Emergent Ventures and Aditya Birla Ventures.

Expansion and market strategy:

The startup was founded in 2019 by Jagadish Gattu and Vamsi Yalamanchili and specializes in AI-based solutions for the chemical, oil and gas and utilities industries. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company supports numerous industrial customers worldwide.

The funding will now help UptimeAI to expand its presence in North America, the Middle East and Asia. This follows a successful 2023 financial year in which the company recorded 400% growth. UptimeAI's AI solutions have proven to be highly effective, offering a 10-15x return on investment within nine months.

UptimeAI's AI Expert OEx platform is used by large industrial companies to increase efficiency and profitability. With the market for AI in heavy industries expected to grow to $47.8 billion by 2029, UptimeAI is well positioned to capitalize on this growth.
