Atira Raises $15 Million for AI Agents in Industrial Sales

Accel and UVC Partners are backing Atira. The Munich-based AI startup is receiving $15 million and aims to use a multi-agent system to automate one of the most complex processes in industrial B2B sales.

The Munich-based AI startup Atira has closed a seed funding round totaling $15 million. The round was led by Accel, and UVC Partners has invested again. The Munich-based investor had already participated in the pre-seed round with $2.5 million. Atira is developing a multi-agent system designed to automate complex bidding processes for industrial companies.

With the new capital, Atira plans to expand its go-to-market team, accelerate product development, and drive international expansion. Since its commercial launch in 2025, the company says it has already acquired more than 15 customers.

UVC Partners Invests Again in Atira

This seed round significantly increases the total capital invested in Atira. Accel is the lead investor in the current round. UVC Partners is investing again, having already provided $2.5 million during the pre-seed financing round.

In total, UVC Partners has invested $17.5 million across the pre-seed and current seed rounds, although the current $15 million funding round is not funded solely by UVC Partners.

The new capital is primarily intended to be allocated to three areas: expanding sales, further developing the platform, and international expansion.

AI Aims to Shorten Quotation Processes That Take Weeks

Atira addresses an area of industrial sales that, despite the digitization of many business processes, remains heavily reliant on manual labor.

For complex and custom-manufactured products, weeks or even months can pass between a request for a quote and the final proposal. Sales engineers, technical experts, legal departments, and commercial teams must review specifications, configure solutions, assess risks, and prepare customized proposal documents.

A significant portion of the knowledge required for this is not exclusively stored in CRM or ERP systems. Experience from previous projects and proposals is particularly relevant.

“The knowledge that actually leads to the success of a deal comes from the company’s own proposal history—a memory that grows with every project,” says Benjamin Erhart, General Partner at UVC Partners.

Atira positions itself between CRM and ERP

This is exactly where Atira comes in. The company is developing an agent-based orchestration layer between CRM and ERP designed to coordinate the commercial proposal process and, in some cases, execute it autonomously.

To achieve this, Atira relies not on a single AI agent, but on a multi-agent system. Different AI agents take on various tasks within the process and work toward a common goal.

The platform is designed to first analyze and evaluate incoming quote requests. It then assists in configuring a suitable solution and in creating technical and commercial quote content.

In this way, Atira specifically addresses so-called requests for quotation (RFQs), in which customers submit detailed requirements for a product or project.

Quotation History Becomes Corporate Knowledge

A central component of the approach is the use of existing knowledge. Previous quotes, technical decisions, and empirical findings should not remain with individual employees or in scattered documents, but should be made available for future processes.

This point is particularly relevant for industrial companies. The more products are tailored to individual customer requirements, the more difficult it becomes to map sales processes using standardized software solutions.

Atira therefore does not seek to replace CRM or ERP systems. Instead, the platform is designed to bridge the gap between customer inquiries, technical engineering, and commercial proposals.

This approach follows a broader trend in enterprise AI: AI systems are increasingly being used not only as assistants but also to orchestrate entire workflows across different enterprise systems.

15 industrial customers since 2025

Since its commercial launch in 2025, Atira has, according to its own figures, acquired more than 15 customers.

These include medium-sized industrial companies such as Robel, Chiron Group, Theegarten-Pactec, and Fette Compacting. In addition, the startup collaborates with international corporations that generate annual revenue of more than one billion dollars.

According to Atira, early customers have reduced the time between an inquiry and a finalized quote by up to 80 percent using the platform. The software is designed not only to accelerate individual work steps but also to standardize quoting processes and make existing corporate knowledge available over the long term.

As a result, engineering teams should spend less time manually compiling information and be able to focus more on the actual development of technical solutions.

From AI Assistant to Agent System for Industry

Atira is thus operating in an increasingly competitive segment of the enterprise AI market. While generative AI was initially used primarily for creating and summarizing content, the focus is increasingly shifting toward specialized agent systems capable of handling entire business processes.

For Atira, therefore, the key factor is likely to be how deeply the platform can be integrated into existing corporate structures. Industrial bidding processes, in particular, are complex, company-specific, and closely tied to technical expertise.

The first 15-plus customers and the time savings reported by the company provide initial indications of demand. With $15 million in new capital and Accel and UVC Partners as investors, Atira must now demonstrate whether it can develop an internationally scalable software business from this foundation.
