Vivenu apparently receives 50 million US dollars

According to a media report, the start-up from Düsseldorf has successfully completed its Series B financing round. The money comes mainly from the USA.
The Düsseldorf-based start-up Vivenu has raised 50 million US dollars in its Series B financing round, as reported by start-up scene reports. The round was led by the billion-dollar American growth fund Activant Capital, which only opened its first European office in Berlin this summer. Existing investor Balderton Capital from London has also injected more money.
Vivenu now wants to use the money to increase its workforce from around 30 to more than 200 employees. The company also plans to become active in the USA from January 2022. Vivenu is said to already have hundreds of customers. These include big names such as second division club FC Schalke 04.
The pricing structure is different to that of competing providers: Vivenu's customers are the event companies - not the ticket buyers. This means that the conditions are better for the companies. How much has to be paid depends on the service and offer. Vivenu receives a commission for every ticket sold, and four percent is payable on the total ticket purchase of an end customer. Vivenu was founded in 2018 by Simon Hennes, Jens Teichert and Simon Weber.
