Vivenu apparently receives 50 million US dollars

According to a media report, the start-up from Düsseldorf has successfully completed its Series B financing round. The money comes mainly from the US.

Düsseldorf-based startup Vivenu has raised $50 million in its Series B funding round, as Gründerszene reported. The round was led by the billion-dollar American growth fund Activant Capital, which opened its first European office in Berlin just this summer. Existing investor Balderton Capital from London has also injected money again.

Vivenu now plans to use the money to increase its headcount from around 30 to more than 200. From January 2022, the company also wants to be active in the US. Vivenu is said to already have hundreds of customers. Among them are big names such as second-division club FC Schalke 04.

The pricing structure is different from that of competing providers: Vivenu's customers are the event companies - and not the ticket buyers. This means that the conditions for the companies are better. How much has to be paid depends on service and offer. For each ticket sold, Vivenu receives a commission, and four percent is due on the total ticket purchase of an end customer. Vivenu was founded in 2018 by Simon Hennes, Jens Teichert and Simon Weber.
