$1.8 million pre-seed for BeatpulseLabs

BeatpulseLabs raises $1.8m pre-seed to translate human expertise into AI training data London-based data infrastructure platform already reports 10x revenue growth in H1 2026

The London-based startup BeatpulseLabs has closed a pre-seed financing round of 1.8 million US dollars. The round is led by Araya Ventures and Lighthouse Ventures, with Alumni Ventures and Avalancha Ventures also participating. At the same time, the company is reporting 10-fold revenue growth in the first half of 2026, signaling a strong increase in enterprise demand for high-quality training data.

The missing layer in the AI stack

BeatpulseLabs positions itself as an infrastructure layer between raw data and models. Instead of simply collecting or labeling data, the company transforms existing audio, video and voice data into structured, AI-compatible training sets.

The approach combines three elements:

  • Human-in-the-loop annotation by subject matter experts
  • Context-rich metadata structures
  • Licensed, domain-specific data sets

The aim is to make multimodal models more robust for real business environments.

From raw material to "real-world intelligence"

The platform covers two core areas:

  1. Dataset Preparation: Structuring and preparation of existing media archives
  2. Dataset Provision: provision of ready-made, legally compliant training data

BeatpulseLabs thus addresses a central problem of modern AI models: they are often trained on generic, inaccurately labeled data and fail in complex real-world scenarios.

"Enterprise AI doesn't fail in testing, but in reality," says co-founder Nikolay Vitanov. It is precisely this gap between simulation and application that the company wants to close.

Investors see the creation of a new data category

For investors, the approach is more than just a data product, as it is seen as a new infrastructure class in the AI stack.

BeatpulseLabs addresses one of the most fundamental bottlenecks in enterprise AI. The combination of expertise, workflow software and high-quality data curation is crucial.

The company's momentum also played a role. The round is seen as a strategic acceleration step, not purely as a means of raising capital.

Positioning in the AI market

With the increasing spread of multimodal AI systems, the bottleneck in the market is shifting. It is no longer computing power or model architecture that are limiting factors, but the quality of the training data also plays a significant role.

BeatpulseLabs is building an infrastructure that:

  • makes human judgment scalable
  • increases domain-specific data quality
  • shortens training and fine-tuning cycles

The startup is thus positioning itself as the data foundation for the next generation of enterprise AI. It will certainly be exciting to see how far BeatpulseLabs gets with the pre-seed and what results can be achieved with it.
