Ada Health gets $90 million

The digital health start-up aims to become the market leader in health analytics. The main investor is Leaps by Bayer from Leverkusen.

The Berlin-based eHealth start-up Ada Health is receiving Series B funding of USD 90 million. Lead investor is the investment arm of agricultural and pharmaceutical group Bayer, Leaps by Bayer. Other investors include Berlin-based Samsung Catalyst Fund, UK-based private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, Poland-based Inteligo Bank, F4 and Switzerland-based Mutschler Ventures.

"Because Ada's solutions are involved early in the search for the right health care, the technology acts as a guidepost and can help get more patients and consumers to their destination faster." Since launch, 23 million health analytics have been created through the app.
