Bastian Lehmann founds new fintech

The entrepreneur has already successfully exited a start-up. Now he is founding a company in the crypto sector.
Postmates founder Bastian Lehmann has a new start-up in the starting blocks: According to research by Finance Forward, he wants to gain a foothold in the crypto industry with a start-up called "Tiptop Labs". The company has been registered in the US state of Delaware since February.
It is not yet known exactly what the start-up will offer. The website refers to "financial solutions for consumers in a changing internet". Finance Forward therefore assumes that it could be an offering with traditional currencies and cryptocurrencies.
The German-born entrepreneur has already founded several companies, including an auction site and a design platform. He then launched Postmates, a food delivery service, in the USA in 2010. Two years ago, he made his exit: Uber bought Postmates for 2.65 billion US dollars.
