Heatle has developed an immersion heater with induction function. The start-up from Berlin is now getting support from the business angel club Better Ventures.

In its pre-seed financing round, Heatle has raised around one million euros. The capital came from founders from the new business angel club Better Ventures. Investors include Better Ventures founders Christoph Behn, Tina Dreimann and Cedric Duvinage, plus Stefan and Anne Lemcke from Ankerkraut, Mawave founders Jason Modemann and Patrick Brüch, and Chris Wichert from Koio. Tobias Schüle and Philipp Schrempp from Foodspring, entrepreneur Michael Börnicke, Kiveda Group co-founder Julian Strosek and former MyMuesli CSO Joachim Eusemann also invested in the Berlin-based startup.

Heatle was founded in 2020 in Berlin by David Riding and Vakhtang Budagashvili. The immersion heater allows liquids to be heated directly in the vessel. The device is intended to replace the conventional kettle in the long run. Pre-sales have now begun, with around 6,000 orders received so far, according to the start-up. The first inductive immersion heaters are to be delivered in Germany before the end of this year.

"We are pleased to be able to fully concentrate on the production of our products with the help of the financing round. Last but not least, Better Ventures actively supported us in bringing many relevant investors to the table and convincing them," says Heatle founder Vakhtang Budagashvili.
