Better Ventures invests in Heatle

Heatle has developed an immersion heater with an induction function. The start-up from Berlin is now receiving support from business angel club Better Ventures.
Heatle has raised around one million euros in its pre-seed financing round. The capital came from founders from the new business angel club Better Ventures. The investors include Better Ventures founders Christoph Behn, Tina Dreimann and Cedric Duvinage, as well as Stefan and Anne Lemcke from Ankerkraut, Mawave founders Jason Modemann and Patrick Brüch and Chris Wichert from Koio. Tobias Schüle and Philipp Schrempp from Foodspring, entrepreneur Michael Börnicke, Kiveda Group co-founder Julian Strosek and former MyMuesli CSO Joachim Eusemann also invested in the Berlin start-up.
Heatle was founded in Berlin in 2020 by David Riding and Wachtang Budagaschwili. The immersion heater allows liquids to be heated directly in the container. The device is intended to replace conventional kettles in the long term. Pre-sales have now begun and, according to the start-up, around 6,000 orders have been received so far. The first inductive immersion heaters are due to be delivered in Germany this year.
"We are delighted to be able to concentrate fully on the production of our products with the help of the financing round. Last but not least, Better Ventures actively supported us in bringing together and convincing many relevant investors," says Heatle founder Vakhtang Budagashvili.
