Cosmos improves collaboration between airlines and ground handling partners worldwide - first customers are Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and SWISS

Berlin, November 2024 - The Lufthansa Innovation Hub announces the spin-off of Cosmos, a solution for the digitalization and optimization of airline operations. The platform was developed in close cooperation with the Lufthansa Group and now operates independently. The aim is to improve collaboration between airlines and ground handling partners at over 250 airports worldwide.

Successful start with strong partners

Following a successful pilot phase and a pre-seed financing round, Cosmos was able to win Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and SWISS Airlines as its first customers. With a large number of airlines on the waiting list and growing demand, the start-up shows great potential to sustainably increase efficiency in the aviation industry.

Technologies for transparency and efficiency

Cosmos relies on real-time data exchange, advanced analytics and SLA (Service Level Agreement) management to optimize operational processes. The platform enables precise coordination of resources, a reduction in delays and an improvement in service quality.

Our vision is to turn service providers into true partners by promoting transparency and collaboration. Through innovative tools and strategies, we help the industry to adapt to dynamic challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
