Actron Group establishes Actron Power as a start-up from

With this spin-off, the group is expanding its portfolio to include batteries and rechargeable batteries. In doing so, Actron Power is working with Asian partners.

The technology group Actron Group has founded its own start-up: The spin-off Actron Power is to offer battery and accumulator solutions in the future, from concept to design to series production. For sales, the start-up is working with companies from Asia. The start-up's Asian partners produce batteries in various formats: from standard batteries to battery packs with optimized charge and discharge control and other special formats. The startup also says it can supply larger quantities and for longer operating durations.

"Thanks to our good network, we can also produce during bottlenecks or deliver from available stocks and thus prevent supply problems," says Actron Power CEO Sven Krüger. Customers can also order lithium cells and lithium polymer batteries for portable devices tailored to their needs.

The parent company Actron Group has been in existence since 1977 and specializes in display and touchscreen solutions for industry. With the spin-off, the group has expanded its portfolio to include batteries.
