Customs Window Technologies receives €800,000 to tackle customs clearance challenges in the EU and UK

Dublin, November 5, 2024 - Irish RegTech startup Customs Window Technologies announces the completion of an €800,000 seed funding round. The investment round, led by private and EIIS investors and supported by Enterprise Ireland's High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) program, will enable the startup to expand into the UK market.

Expansion planned in the UK

Customs Window Technologies intends to use the additional funding to drive forward its market entry in the UK. The customs authority there, HMRC, recorded over 91 million customs declarations last year. With further regulatory changes expected in 2025, the UK market is considered strategically important for the young company.

Support from experienced investors

Investors include Mike Stalley, founder of tax compliance firm Fiscal Reps. Stalley will advise Customs Window Technologies on international expansion and strategic planning in the UK. Customs Window Technologies had previously received €100,000 in funding from the Enterprise Ireland Pre-Seed Start Fund program.
