Densy secures €200,000 investment

AI meets interior design: Czech startup Densy secures €200,000 funding to support designers with smart tools
Prague, March 20, 2025 - Czech startup Densy has secured €200,000 in funding from Biano, a furniture search engine with operations in ten European markets. The platform uses artificial intelligence and automation to optimize the way interior designers work.
Tools for more efficient design processes
The platform offers a range of exciting features:
- Integrated communication: direct exchange with customers within the platform without cumbersome email correspondence.
- Product library: Automated collection and price updating of furniture and accessories from various online stores.
- Densy Product Clipper: A Chrome plugin with which product details (price, name, image) can be extracted directly from online stores.
- AI-supported inspiration: The digital assistant Muse helps designers to follow current trends and gain creative inspiration.
- Budget management: Efficient management of budgets and project costs.
Biano sees enormous potential in Densy
Densy is exactly the kind of project we want to support - innovative, relevant for our Home & Living segment and with global potential
Peter Hupka, CEO Biano
Biano, part of the Miton investment group, supported furniture stores with orders worth €60 million last year. The idea for Densy came from a market analysis by Biano, which identified inefficient processes between interior designers and their customers."We saw that designers spend a lot of time on product search, communication and project management - instead of focusing on creative design. This is exactly where Densy comes in," explains Peter Hupka.
Global community approach and free basic services
Densy plans to offer its basic version for interior designers free of charge in order to build an international designer community."Our vision is to make interior design more efficient, scalable and accessible through vertical software with AI elements. The funding will help us to further develop Densy and prepare it for the global market," says Densy founder Filip Syřínek.
