The customer service company acquires both the Berlin start-up and the French company Miuros as part of a double takeover.

The Danish company Dixa is taking over the Berlin start-up Solvemate. At the same time, Dixa is also buying the analysis company Miuros. The double takeover costs the customer service company 43 million US dollars.

Dixa wants to support brands worldwide in improving their customer service. Since 2015, the company has been offering various solutions on its platform to automate customer service. Solvemate also wants to make customer service more automated. Erik Pfannmöller, who founded the Berlin-based start-up in 2015, has developed a chatbot that answers questions and identifies the right contact person. "Customers no longer have to wait long for answers and companies no longer have to answer the same questions over and over again," says Pfannmöller. The chatbot makes it possible for service teams to have more time to offer differentiated customer service.

With its chatbot, Solvemate brings a self-service level to the Dixa platform. "By adding Miuros and Solvemate to our offering, we are creating a unified environment where we use data for automation, measurement and insight generation. We are setting a completely new standard in data-driven customer service," says Mads Fosselius, CEO and co-founder of Dixa.
