Doordash apparently invests in Flink

According to a report by the news agency Bloomberg the US food delivery service Doordash has invested in Flink. Exactly how much money flowed remains unclear. Bloomberg writes of several hundred million US dollars. The start-up is now said to have a valuation of 2.1 billion US dollars.
According to information from Bloomberg , other US companies had been interested in Flink in the past. Amazon and Gopuff, an American delivery app backed by Softbank, had previously considered rival takeover bids.
Doordash is the largest food delivery company in the US. The company appears to have been looking for investment opportunities in Europe for some time. As recently as August, there were rumors that Doordash was likely looking to invest in Berlin-based delivery service Gorillas.
